New game: New Ninja action!

Warframe. People may not be talking about it in the gaming world but I certainly want to.  Its currently in an open beta and is a Free-to-Play game. Which means you can download it without wasting any money at all.

For this article I'm going to go over the very basics of the game and what it offers in terms of playability's etc. I will cover other forms of subjects, such as the types of warframes you command, prices, farming items etc in later forms. For now lets check out the game

First lets start off by explaining what this game is about in very simple terms.

You are a space ninja.

That's the true form this game plays out. You control in the game a character called a Tenno. This race/ninja like people are desendants from an ancient group of people called the Orikan (guys who made tons of stuff with incredible technology.) The Tenno were preserved in cryo pods and when they are woken up they are brought into a new form of war that is being waged in a new form of our galaxy. They fight and resist various factions that exist in this new age with suits called Warframes.

And that's where you start off.

The game itself is a third person shooter (see pic below for ex.) where you control your character and have pretty much free reign in terms of controls where you want to move in various missions. These missions are where you spend most of your time in the game. They range from missions of eliminating which ever of the three enemy factions in the game, to rescue missions, defense and other goodies along the way.

Over time you gain experience and level up your frame, along with the weapons you obtain throughout the game. Also when you go out on missions you earn credits along with materials found within certain missions to create more weapons and even create more warframes to add to your collection.

There are many different styles of warframes as well so there is a ton of variety involved with the games mechanics. Every one of them has there own unique play style and set of abilities. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, speeds, etc. So no two are the same.

There is a ton of info about this game that I will delve into over the next couple of blogs going into detail about control and other facets of the game. But the one thing I want people to take away from this first blog is that this game is very interesting to play and is worth looking into. Even just to try out the free-to-play download and seeing the way the game works is quite a fix in my mind and will leave you wanting more.

In summery this game has a ton of potential for it. And since it is still currently in an Open Beta there is still lots of room for it to grow and expand its universe. Keep watch here for more updates.
